Sensory Room

Difficulty in effectively engaging in emotional and social interactions is a prominent characteristic often observed in individuals with high-functioning autism. Among various therapeutic approaches, drama therapy has shown promising results in alleviating these symptoms in autistic children and adolescents. This therapeutic method involves participation in dramatic activities, providing an active, hands-on approach to therapy. Research indicates that drama therapy can significantly enhance social skills and peer communication for children with autism spectrum disorder, making it a valuable tool for improving interaction abilities

Yoga & Meditation

Integrating yoga and meditation into our special school program offers many valuable benefits. These practices can provide support to individuals with autism by promoting relaxation, reducing anxiety, enhancing focus, and strengthening self-regulation skills. Additionally, yoga and meditation can improve body awareness and coordination, which are often challenging areas for individuals with autism. By introducing these practices in a structured and nurturing environment, we can foster a sense of calm and overall well-being, benefiting both students and staff alike.

Music Room

The music room in a special school for autism holds profound importance, serving as a sanctuary for many students. Music therapy has shown significant positive effects on individuals with autism, helping them express emotions, improve social interactions, and integrate sensory experiences. In this space, students can explore various musical instruments, rhythms, and sounds, which foster creativity and self-expression. The music room provides a valuable, non-verbal medium for communication, enabling students to connect with others and express themselves in ways that may be challenging through traditional methods. Additionally, it offers a structured environment where students can enhance focus, attention, and cognitive abilities, all while experiencing the joy and therapeutic benefits of music.

Play & Childrens Park

Play is an essential aspect of childhood development, particularly in an autism special school where it serves as a crucial tool for learning and social interaction. In a thoughtfully designed children’s park within such a school, play areas are tailored to meet the diverse sensory and developmental needs of children with autism. These parks often feature equipment that encourages physical activity, such as swings and climbing structures, alongside quiet zones with calming elements like sensory gardens or water features. The inclusive environment fosters not only individual play but also social engagement, allowing children to interact with their peers in a safe and supportive setting. Through play, children with autism can enhance their motor skills, improve social communication, and experience joy, ultimately contributing to their overall well-being and development.
