Visual Impairment
Visual impairment in individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) presents unique challenges, as it combines both sensory and social communication needs.

Multi-sensory impairment
Multi-sensory impairment (MSI) in children with autism is a complex challenge where a child experiences difficulties in multiple sensory areas, such as vision, hearing, touch and balance.

Autistic spectrum disorder
Difficulty in effectively engaging in emotional and social interactions is a prominent characteristic often observed in individuals with high-functioning autism.

Communication and interaction need
Communication and interaction needs are central considerations for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), as they often experience unique challenges in these areas.

Therapeutic Interventions:
At our school, 50% of the students require Speech Therapy physiotherapy. We conduct scientific evaluations of each child’s speech, language and motor problems and ensure that teachers and parents are fully involved in the ongoing programs. We take special care to provide individual attention to every student who requires our services. Multi-sensory therapy programs, which involve speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and vision or hearing specialists, are often effective. These programs aim to build on the child’s sensory strengths, gradually introducing new ways to process information while reducing sensory overload.
Physio Therapy:
We have a well functional physio therapy unit in our school to help children who have difficulty with functional movement, poor balance, and challenges moving through their environment.
The physiotherapist will design and implement an individualized program to address the specific needs of each child, ultimately improving their overall function and participation.Physiotherapy plays an important role in improving the gross motor skills and mobility of a child. It also helps in maximizing the potential in children with multiple physical and learning difficulties.

Speech Therapy:
Language delay and deviant language development are often the features which lead to diagnosis and assessment of mental multiple disability and autism.
Many conditions including intellectually challenged, learning disability may cause difficulty with speech and language development. Some children may not understand the language. Some children may understand language but unable to communicate effectively because of speech difficulty.
The goal of intervention is to comprehend the nature and scope of a child’s challenges and enhance communication as much as possible. The School offers a unique speech and language therapy; Speech Computer Program. Specifically charted speech exercises are done by full time speech therapists and special educators.
